I stumbled across these on the GS forums (and the last two were on TWC). Granted, the thread is over a year old, but I'm just wondering. If not, does anybody know what mod they're from because they look pretty cool.

They aren't historically accurate and If I remember correctly won't be in game. Just some "art-work" I suppose.

The first two are indeed from the EB team, but they won't be used in EB2. They were just try-outs knocked up to test the engine. I haven't seen the final picture before, though.

Yeah that last one looked uncommonly detailed for TW units.

Judging from the previews I've seen the team seams to really be trying to make each unit look individual, using all the possible features of the engine. Considering that I can't wait to see the early republican legions where everyone bought their own equipment, there will be so much diversity.

The first two were just EB1 (RTW engine) units that were upgraded to the M2TW engine as a modeler/skinner's test. Those tests were lost in a computer failure and that particular artist doesn't have much time fore EB anymore as he is working professionally.

I do not recognize the third picture.

EB always had great skinners, no need to worry about that part.

They are looking to friendly and naiv but they would fit very well to an
Astrix and Obelix mod.
Hovever the graphic is of good quality.

Asterix and Obelix Romans got LS, these don't.

As said before, they are just imports directly from EB I.
EB II Romans will be different from those.

I liked the glints on their helmets, really cool
