Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Those unit sizes. Those models. I'm lost for words!
The whole modern world has divided itself into Conservatives and Progressives. The business of Progressives is to go on making mistakes. The business of the Conservatives is to prevent the mistakes from being corrected. - G.K. CHESTERTON
Well normally it's not, since it's hard-coded.
Only after "touching" the .exe the current limit is 300 and I will try to go past that, if it's possible then the unit size will probably be unlimited.
But I don't know if it's an internal reason for that 300 limit, when I managed to bypass some checks to have more than 300 the game CTD.
It's still WIP.
Anyway discussing about modifying the .exe is tabu on TWC.
So when Eb2 will be released we will let you know about the unit sizes, if CA allows us to use this small altered .exe of Kingdoms.
And of course it will still require an original copy of the game!
It would be even nicer if CA would allow us to expand the faction limit.

I am actually more worried about the unit limit of 500 (Same as RTW) because the faction limit is higher.
Wow, 300 men, I bet I can only run up to 60-80 unit sizes.
Can the M2 engine even handle those numbers with full stacks fighting each other? even when running on a above average PC, it could get messy.
That port for carthage is bigger than some cities, lol
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
Looks quite nice.
Love that Punic army model on the campaign map. Only thing I don't dig is the lush greeness in North Africa. I know its fertile but it shouldn't be the same lushness of Europe.

The campaign map, the cities, the models, all the details look excellent!!
And the port, quite huge, as it should be, for a city like Carthage

I know, it could be better but I was in a rush.
Everything you see is a WIP and the map will probably suffer some changes to make use of the new tile textures I created.Love that Punic army model on the campaign map. Only thing I don't dig is the lush greeness in North Africa. I know its fertile but it shouldn't be the same lushness of Europe.
And the map was done before I've changed those.
Yes, like it was in that time:
I can't see any of them
Were there but a tree in this godforsaken place i would have hanged myself.
Hi everyone!
Since I`ve been in China for quite some time now and thus don`t have access to twitter, could someone please update me? Or is it actually true that there haven`t been any twitter updates for a while now?
Thanks!
