The colours on show in the sneek peek are superb. this mod will be EPIC!
Some more epirus and macedon to watch. Part 3 is up.
I'm seriously looking forward to seeing Hetairoi Kataphraktoi rendered on the Med2 Engine. And just all the units from the original.
The idea of more factions, too, also makes me quite happy, it should be a bit easier with the better mechanics of diplomacy in MTW2 as well.

that is just amazing
How big is the city of Carthage really? i always Carthage itself is the port. also on that map the port and city seem to be many leagues apart.
the R2TW screenshots aren't helping either since i figure that is carthage itself all the way to the town square.

all hail the flying spaghetti monster!
Amazing screenshots
guys guys i never doubt that that will be greatest mod of roman era ever.
pics look amazing. i wish i could help.
the only thing i am worried about right now is diplomacy, u know having bad diplomacy may ruin entire game and i hope you will have some surprise for us in that way. in ruining game i mean stupidly agressive factions and etc. i know base of med2tw gives you much more to do with that than it was in rtw. i just want to say that for me diplomacy in med2tw modification BC was the best, there is about reputation which is hard to achieve
also i question to map creator, will port of carthage unique? i mean it will be on maximum level probably yes?
hope i have not many mistakes.
also good luck for entire team.
I think the thing that needs to be changed the most about diplomacy is reputation... it should be removed completely. there were no human rights that would require me to release prisoners or every one will be angry with me, cities were massacred all the time, its how wars were done up to medieval times too.
Carthage was a coastal city, it's just difficult for gameplay purposes to represent that in M2TW.
The city itself was by all accounts probably about as large as Rome. Even during the final siege of the city which took three years (149 - 146BC) and after 50 years of intrigues after their defeat in the 2nd Punic War, the city had a population of approximately 500,000. (Which means the city's population was larger during its peak of strength at the beginning of Rome 2's time frame) Well over 400,000 people were brutally killed and an estimated 55,000 that were left were enslaved.

I refuse to ever use Twitter or Facepage.
No way we can put the sneak peeks back on the forums?

You're a Gary Johnson supporter too?
If yes: yay!
Anyway are ports more accurately represented in the newer Total War games?
