    Default How to code Protectorate

    Hey,

    What is the number value for making a faction a protectorate over another in faction_relations part of the descr_strat? Or do you have to do it through a script?

    There's no way to do that actually.

    You could put a diplomat near the faction you want to be protectorate of , and then try force diplomacy .. Then you could kill off your diplomat with a script or with the console panel , so that you start with everything as normal , from the first turn

    Hehe, in theory, perhaps. But has anyone actually gotten that to work?

    Hmm .. Maybe it would work , but they'd break it the following turn But still , technically , it should work 1 turn
