Default how to edit the number of men on ships?

I used the pack manager to edit the naval_unit_stats increasing the total number of man on deck. but no matter what changes i make, in game the nuber stays the same

basicly i want ships to have more men on board, for exaple heavy first liner to have 400-500 men is this possible?

any help would be great, thanks!

yes, and I have not found anything beside the naval unit stats files refernce wich seems it's not working, probably it needs to be changed from somewhere else. I just have no clue

Several ways to go about doing this.

    1) You can edit them in your saved games by using the ESF Editor and going to "FACTION" (the one you want to change) and choose "ARMY ARRAY" > "NAVY" > "UNIT" and with "UNIT" highlighted, you can change the 2nd and 3rd line to the number of men you want on the ship.

    2) You can do this in the startpos.esf file (instead of your saved games file) located in data/campaign/main folder of your E:TW directory to permanently set the men so that no matter how many games you start, they will always have that number of men.

    3) You can go inside the patch.pack > db > unit_stats_naval_table and export the unit_stats_naval as a TSV file and edit it with notepad (the third number, which will be your crew size) and then import it, save.

NOTE: Steps 1 and 2 will not display the total number of men, however; the number of men will not decrease until it drops below the original total crew size.

I.E. If you choose 500 500 and loaded the game, you'd still see 194 (example) crew size, but the game actually will "think" you have 500, therefore, you won't seem to notice any damage until you've lost from 500 to 193 men.

sorry on the multy posting but i found what i was doing wrong, so macdaddy02 IOU an apolegy for the trubble

aperantly the pack manager cant edit the crew because there is more then one type of crew something that Zapppa's naval editor can chage any way i used he's editor and have chaged ship crew numbers to over 300 value, fram rate drops due to over populated ships, but all in all the game does not show any problem with this change

zapppa's naval editor (thank you zapppa!)
