editing white straps on units??

has anybody figures out how to edit the white straps on units? and backpacks stuff like that? if you know point out where i can find the files plz

The problem is with the textures and the meshes (the unit models). The thing is that the textures on the units are essentially 'half' a texture each. For one soldier, one half of a uniform texture is taken and flipped for the other side. Unfortunately, that also means that simply adding straps by editing the texture won't work (it'll look very strange). Since we don't have any means of editing the meshes yet, I don't think there's any way to do this at the moment, sorry..

yea that makes sense i thought since there is already one on the unit you might be able to just copy how that one works and add another if you get my drift.

You can change the colour of the straps in the unit's texture, they are in the lower right hand corner of the image.

i think most line infantry should have two straps crossing eachother. i also thought that officers had one strap and then giant bronze ornament on their neck
