im playing the grand campaign, 1722 is the year and the game is basically done for me.. i cant attack cities anymore (crashes) and i cant declare war on ANYONE (also crashes) wtf is wrong with this game?

same problem to me.crashes after declare war and do any diplomatic move.hapens after 120 turns

the game is COMPLETELY unpredictable, you cannot catch it from anywhere, one day it performs fine, and the next day you have a ctd, personally i voted that i didnt have any problems in the grand campaign but that does not apply for the custom battles too,
you mod the game, then your modification works fine, the next day you are trying to repeat what you did yesterday and the game crashes...
I think that the modifications are going to cause many many more unpredicted crashes to that game, the games condition is NOT stable, and it can crash or cause a problem of its own whithout any particular reason

Mine is running fine and on pretty high settings too and my PC is ancient. I guess there is no way of predicting these things.

I played a Swedish campaign to 1826 (and put it down for a while), my current Poland-Lithuanian game is in 1835 at the moment.

I had a problem with an Admiral in my Swedish campaign - I could not click on the fleet without a CTD. After the Admiral died I could re-use the fleet.

With the Poland-Lithuanian game when I upgraded to a star fortress and looked at the description I got a CTD. I was able to continue the campaign though.

Honestly with MadBoris Insufficient memory" & "CTD" - workaround "http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=238484" I'm able to completed roll to independent and conquered half of Europe with no CTD.

that madboris thing didn't work for me.

I've basically shelved the game until it will actually work.

I have played three - France, Prussia and GB and can't get past a number of turns unless I do strange things like not click on armies, declare war on anyone etc!!!

So frustrating. And its so clearly the game, I am lucky enough (maybe not lucky actually) to own two copies of the game on two different rigs- and its still CTD at some point.

I've had some annoying CTDs which I think are being caused by admirals and the game slows down badly late on with ports and ships but I have managed to get several campaigns a long way down the line;

Being able to play at all is an accomplishment of sorts. There are a number of users myself included that can't launch the game or the game crashes when the end turn button is pressed.
