And I agree with him on this issue. Someone should talk to N.K diplomatically, create conditions for N.K to lower its military readiness, and America/SK will do the same. Build some trust, get things moving. But of course, inform them that any games, any aggressive political posturing, will end any hope of reconciliation. The leadership is a bunch of fools, but they aren't insane, they arent sociopaths.

But you are not a country. North Korea is a threat to our allies, therefore it is a threat to us. To treat it so lightly like Representative Paul does in the video is foolish.

We have agreements with Japan and South Korea to protect them in event of war. That's why we have 30,000 troops stationed there. So again, I don't see how NK isn't a threat.

I'm a Greek American . And like I said, the United States has 30,000 troops there because we agreed to protect South Korea in case of attack.

I think Ron Paul was trying to point out is NK is in no way capable of starting a war or conflict with there problems in there own country.

Well he's wrong. They are very capable. Maybe not a war against the United States, but against South Korea and Japan, they are very able to start a war.
