    Default Categorizing the Errors

I made this thread because I couldn't figure out what it meant when I'm suddenly tossed from the game back into the lobby with no error message, and no sign of anyone leaving.

I've noticed these, and they show what they are.

Desynch - 4v4 usually. Crappy computers and overly brave people.
    Someone Drops - Error Message.
Someone leaves - It says they leave, you get win.
    CTD - Obvious.
    Sudden exit - Eh?

Kenny, I seem to get the desync message all the time now, regardless of map or player numbers.

ChaosVC seems to think its my data that is broken, perhaps it is. I really dont want to resinstall because of all the horror stories about accounts being deleted.

Has anyone else gotten the desync message, and if you did, what was the issue?

The sudden exit is because someone has left the battle, the team with the leaver gets a loss and the other team a win. This happens in ranked games only.

As mentioned, it varies depending on whether the game is ranked or unranked. With unranked players u get informed the player left, but the game continues.

Dysnc is apparently a corruption of data files, someone using a wrong version (perhaps different language, I see this happen with a lot of asian named players) or is hacking of the files in an attempt to mod unit stats or the like.

Getting dropped is just a hosts network problem. It happens to me sometimes. I know its not an ISP hiccup. I get those alot, but ETW recovers nicely (whereas games like Left 4 Dead do not). It may be an ISP hiccup on the host's side.

on a related note, does anyone know what "no response from host" error actally is?

2 friends of mine can both play if in my game and can occasionally play in each other's games but 90% of the time either of them host they get this error.

I'm getting it on about half of all servers i try to connect to. Is it to do with the hosts port forwarding? my guess would be no since it seems sporadic and trying again 5 minutes later works.

    any ideas?

I can't play online. I finally got my ETW back to vanilla and I keep getting the message "there was a desync in the game, now exiting."

Again, and again, and again. 4 battles. All right after deployment. Any fixes? I tried changing my zone, no avail.
Yes, I hate the fact RTW is out and I still have a Japanese title. Come on now admins- let's get with the program.
