    Anyone else see it? I saw it today with my freind. His mom and my dad went ot HS with the director of it and were friends with him.
    The real adeventureland is an amusement park where they lived and worked at. The character Lisa p was partly based of his mom and my dad influenced the main character and that weirdo guy shooting at the vietcong. The guy w/ the pipe was based off of my friends mom old BF. She actully did work rides but said she didnt dance like a moron with a black girl and they wore bright orange shirts.

    I liked it, I was afraid of it being a pretentious artsy movie. Luckily it wasn't.

    Incorporated equal elements of humor, and drama.
