PAGE 6 IN MANUAL??????WRONG!!!

This is wrong.

The asking for advice button as seen in page 6 of the manual doesn't exist in the game does it? It says zoom to location on ampaign map and is permanently greyed out. Is this a giant mistake by Creative Aseembly lol.

Its always been greyed out for me, yes. I imagine it ties in with advices, that you can zoom in on what an advisor says. Otherwise, the button wouldnt have a function, you cant zoom in on nothing

Thanks Placid. It seems even the HUD interface is badly programmed too. This game is great but sooooo frustrating

I have a terrible memory, but i seem to recall that the advisor pad on the top left of the screen has been largely unchanged for both RTW, M2TW and now ETW ?

Indeed. I've even noticed them recycle monologue from old games in empire.

ETW isn't the only game to do that. The Manual is made several stages before the release version. For example, Firefly Studio's Stronghold 2 manual described how you could bet on jousts. This was not included in the actual game.

But, I try not to lose sleep over it.
