    Default Problems and Whatnot

Okay , Yesterday I downloaded XGM and so far Im enjoying it to say the least
Im engrossed in a GCS campaign but have encountered problems,

First off , I like to turn autosave off in the preferences text aswell as unit markers , But every time I do and load up or start a new campaign my changes are reverted to default (Quite annoying)

Why does Macedon start with two stacks and GCS only one, bit unfair

And finally why are buildings so cheap and settlement income low

    Great Mod BTW
    RIP Calvin

Make sure you are changing the correct preferences file, and you might try changing the file directly if you didn't already.

As for Macedon, well, they are a united, militaristic kingdom, compared with a collection of cities, they have a bigger army because they could and did.

Finally, you sort of answered your own question, buildings are "cheap" and settlement income is "low" because XGM's economy works at a lower base level than some mods. Coming from Roma Surrectum I can see why you might think there isn't enough money.

That is the correct folder; perhaps someone else will know why the preferences are changing. I haven't messed around with those too much.

If the preferences are unreadable then the game will create a new preferences file. It might be that you are making some sort of mistake when you edit it (an unrecognised option, or a formatting error maybe?)
