    Default Regicide?

Seriously, Im Prussia and united all of Germany, the only problem is, my emperor sucks, he has terrible traits, and I wish there was an option to kill your own king without doing a revolution and putting your heir as king, but noooooo, CA removed the heir option, and now my pathetic king finally died, only that the new king has the same traits as the king!
If someone makes a mod to do regicide......thank you............

i agree that the family tree needs to be put back into the game, along with inheretance, and in this age you should be able to choose your heir.

Well the family tree is gone. Everyone knows it was supposed to be there. I guess you have to wait for it to be put back into the game.

And royality does not tend to just 'step down'. The ability to cause a revolution is for that (you have a retarded king, may as well do retarded things). I think it would have been good if you could pay other factions to kill your king for the heir - this was in Medievel 2 (or at least for the AI).

theres a thing called a "noble's revolt" in an absolutist monarchy. if you cause the nobles in your capital to rebel (the same way you would regular people) they will depose the old king and put a new one on the throne. that's how a lot of people got Carlos II of Spain off of the spanish throne

I like the idea of having to suffer through a crappy king- it makes things more interesting. Better than being able to kill off losers in your royal family until you get someone good .

Is there a way for a faction to become an absolute monarchy when you do not begin as one.

Is there a way to kill off my king under a con monarchy. Took a while getting to con monarchy and I don't want to do the whole cycle over just cause my king is ugly and likes fondling the ladies.

Well it is easier to start a revolution and get rid of incompetent monarch - a thing that occured many times in reality - than wish for regicide option !

ok, to end the nonsense of the revolutions, here is the order

from absolutism, nobles=new king, lower class=republic
from republic, middle class=const. monarchy, lower class=no idea, probably just unrest
from const. monarchy, nobles=absolutism, other class=republic

Revolutions as GB result in a CTD it seems. 3 times I've tried it (three different campaigns that is, I've tried dozens of times within those games) and each time I win the fight it wil CTD.

Strange Vor ive managed to have about 4 revolutions in Britain no crash, Republic Britain sure has a horrible flag

The Good News is even if CA dont consider the ROyal family important our great modding Community is on the case.

    Check out this MOD RoyalFamilyMod

It at least shows the family tree now so you can see how many heirs you have and what they are like.
