    Default Where are ranges?

I really liked Quixotes mod, but I don't agree with all his unit stats. So, I am editing my own to write over his.

Where are the ranges for each unit in the db?
I can't seem to find it.

Range depends on the weapon, not the unit. Look in the "projectiles" table, there is a column called "range".

Are there specific stats that control the 'effective range' of a weapon or projectile? Like if you wanted muskets to have a range of 120, but really only be lethal at around 40, can this be set directly? Is it a unit stat, or a projectile stat, if it exists.

Is the only way to effect this indirectly via changing the accuracy stat of a particular unit?

    Thanks!

Yep, you can have the accuracy fall off dramatically after a certain range. Darthmod does this pretty well. He extended the range of most muskets by about 25%, but you can't really hit anything out there.

i looked in the unit stats but am unsure which stat dictates that feature, it is one of the 'unknown' columns? in darthmod's db towards the end of the unit stats are 3 unknown columns, the values for line units go, 50,75,100. Are these the falloff factors? Or am I looking in the wrong place?

I think base accuracy is defined by the weapon, and would be in the projectile table, but it's also modified by the unit. Unfortunately, all these columns are still marked unknown.
