I actually managed to conquer all of western europe, the British Isles, Russia, and India before 1800, no joke. Well, I was playing with the campaing AI on Easy lol.

If Very Hard/Very Hard the AI is a pushover, kill themselves at your coming on medium, they must climb into their own graves first and kill themselves to save you the convenience on easy.

I conquered all the available regions in the European and the Indian theater by 1750 on VH/VH. Once you get the ball rolling...

I was playing Russia so now the only major nations left are Russia and the United States which is kind of funny. Maybe I should conquer all of the Americas and give it to the yankees to get a cold war going.

Well no neccessarily.

The real difference not so much in AI, which has its flaws no matter the difficulty.

The difference is that on Easy, the easiness of winning battes with autoresolve is not an issue pretty much. So conquering away after time becomes mechanical, especially with a large nation like Ottomans.
