    Default economy total war

feels llike you have to spend too much time on the economy in this game sending trade ships here and there, and building up so much infrastructure in every single town, farm, etc. which gets annoying. Didnt have a problem with previous tw games, but cant seem to make much money in empire total war. Any one else agree?

All the economy consists of is getting boats into yellow cirlces and keeping trade agreements. Its really dumb and unimaginative system.

I understand what you're saying, because yes, I really find it annoying when I have a vast empire and I have to go through and upgrade a million roads. But it's an Empire, so the economy is one of the most important parts.

Before my save corrupted (on 1795) during my Russian Grand Campaign, I really enjoyed the mix of economy/military. To me there seems to be long stretches of pure military action, and long stretches of economic action.

The only part I don't like about the economic process in this game is that you have to micro manage so many different down, like having to constantly upgrade your churches and what not.

Yeah, it h as its ups and downs. When you get a big empire, it's nearly impossible to manage it efficiently, (i.e maintain all the current farms, roads, workshops, everything) and then the clamour for reform thing starts popping up...
On the other hand, in this game, if you're smart, and prepare in the early parts, doing things like upgrading roads and workshops in the beginning, and starting trade routes and sending trade ships, then there is a HUGE difference in the later game.

    Not at all.

Trade in ETW is more complex than in any previous titles, however it is also more crucial for the weath creation.

Once you get your industrialization on the high enuff level and establish profitable trade routes you ll feel the difference..
