    Did you also place user.empire_script.txt into:

    Documents and Settings\[USER-NAME]\Application Data\The Creative Assembly\Empire\scripts

    if you are using Windows XP, or

    Users\[USER-NAME]\AppData\Roaming\The Creative Assembly\Empire\scripts

    under Vista?

    The game has to be told to use the mod through this file.

    Ok...are you talking about the text file that comes with the mod? If not, where do I get this script thingy?

    Hopefully that file was provided with the mod. If not, you could try making one in the appropriate folder or steal one from another mod and change the entry to fit the one you are playing. It's just a simple text file with a line (or more if you are combining a number of mods) like this:

    mod nameofyourmod.pack;

    I'm still confused......

    I downloaded WINRAR and extracted it to the following.

    C:\Documents and Settings\(Your User Name Here)\Application Data\The Creative Assembly\Empire\scripts

    Now do I then extract it to the DATA folder???

    Please speak to me like I'm a 2 year old!!
