    Default Files wont be deleted

Well I have Vista, and this problem is pissing me off.

I couldn't get BC to work with the patch so I decided to uninstall it, this file which still had the BC patch was still there, so I tried to delete it, but it wouldn't work, so since I dont play MTW2 anymore, I decided to uninstall that too, and it still had the BC Patch and still wouldnt let me delete it, heres another thing too:
I accidentally deleted the Kingdoms icon, and now its in the recycle bin and I cant delete it or restore it. My bc patch wont be deleted at all, and I still have the Sega file even though I uninstalled MTW2.

This is really pissing me off, I've been yelling the word over 100 times because this wouldnt work.
Im in a desperate need of help.
And please, do not say swipe, because this is my families computer and they a ton of stuff in there

    My recommendation for Vista users:
    1. Install into a different folder, for example C:\Games\Med2 - that way your files don't end up in the virtual folder and cause all sorts of problems
    2. Disable UAC while you are modding, makes life easier.

Have you tried to remove the 'read-only' attribute of the files that you want to delete?
Simply right click the file(s), choose properties and uncheck the tickbox that says 'read-only. Click 'apply' and then 'ok'

Yeah and everytime I click apply I still get it the thing its telling me its on another program, which I dont know what program it is.
Then when I try to go back to properties the whole thing went back the way it was, I checked out Read-only and when I went back into the properties its not checked out

Be careful what you wish for.

#1. Since it is the family's computer and assume it is actually your parent's computer, you'll have to have them give you administrative rights to the program files/Sega folder and the virtual store/Sega folder and wherever the BC installer is.

Without that there will be no #2.

Well heres another and it was stupid of me:
I decided to uninstall MTW2, all of it. And when that happened, it still showed that the Kingdoms games were playable, but they were already deleted, and now Im deleting every thing in the MTW2 folder, but now it seems everythings been screwed up.
Im just going to call my friends whose in the tech dept. he'll just swipe it or something, I dont have that much on my comp anyway, I can jus backup what my parents need, they'll wont be mad about it since they know about backup

All I can say is Good Luck because you'll need it.

Before you go throiugh that trouble, get a registry cleaner and clean the rest of it out. You may get lucky and not have to reformat.
