    I can't get the patch packed version of smoke and blood to work. Supposedly the MM version works, I haven't tried it.

    My Spanish are still white in battle,not on campaign map. The smoke and blood works with MM.After last patch I had to run MM first with all boxes unchecked,save and reload with boxes checked.I did that again now so not sure if that's the answer .

    from what i can tell the major issues are being caused by the patch versions of the respective mods.If I recall CA did mention that the only officially recognised modding procedure was through mods packs vs patch,but i mat have recalled this incorrectly.Either way i have had better success with the mods that i run through mod manager vs those that have been patched

    Can someone make lists of the major changes done by the following mods:

    A Proper Empire
    The Rights of Man
    Imperial Splendor


    What are the biggest differences between these three? Are they compatible with the latest patch 1.3?
    I like the changes made by Darth in battle-mod and to me it seems like these three mods in first hand changes the campaign. Combining Darths awesome battle-gameplay with the changes made to the campaign by any of the three mods mentioned above would be wonderful. Is there any way to make it possible?

    Thanks for this topic Jared,took half a day off from work to sort everything out

    So the patch_packs are an Issue ????for sure??
    But period-Music(=tuca music) is a Mod pack !

    Can't confirm that.
    patch.packs aswell as mod.packs are causing crashes, the reason is not the type of .pack-file.
    Guess it happens to mods which overwrite an entire table in the db-section without having proper entrys for the new units.
    Can be solved easily by extracting the original tables from the new patch.pack and change them ...

    Im throwing a lot of mods out atm,and testing around,When ive got a list that actually not Ctds,ill put it up here!

    1 general question tho jared

    Did a clean up yesterday allready,started a new Prussiancampaign and fought a Battle with NO problems,
    BUT,as soon as i went into my capital Berlin on the Campaignmap,and began to look at my recruitment options it Crashed!!(took all Prussian mods out allready)

    So CTDing when looking at recruitment tab,what does that tell you Jared??
    (got NO overhauling and unitstats changing Mods installed,never had,just units,equipment,smoke etc)

    Could you give a list of mods you have? Look for mods like "tighter formations" or anything that has to do with IS or Darthmod, cause theese change a lot in the db-files and therefore cause the system to crash as soons as the system searches for information on the new units...

    I would like to point out that while tighter formations still works in reducing the gap between file and rank for units, it does NOT change the NEW unit stats (for all units) that have been implemented by CA for balancing purposes.

    I'm currently, slowly but surely, working on changing that.

    heres another 1,the best i can do when i want to cover the whole page

    Jared,maybe its the Minor Factions enhanced-mod and early fire by rank-mod which are affected???

    I would guess that the early fire by rank mod could cause this, not sure though... tried to remove this mod and mayve the minor enhancement mod?

    EUREKA!!!!
    Mine works
    ALLL new units are there,all mods working,names showing(mods and vanilla)

    After removing "minor factions enhanced and 'early fire by rank mods'' + a unit of Highlanders Mod,my game runs sweet again

    b4 this step,i allready deleted 8 mods,so a total of 11 were thrown out of data

    Ill post screen from new Modmanager below,and in the comming days ill be adding other deleted mods into my data,to see who are compatible,and who are not !

    Ill update this post with MMscreens!
    I dont run the DLC units yet,but they should just blend in,if you take this into regard

    Yeah , I just happened to test it out and could of sworn it would work , now I have no idea what is causing this right now . Just give me some to time to look at the new patched data .
