    Forget all those posts of people who suggest multiple small mods. Its always so confusing and some of em are in conflict with each other.

    If you install A Proper Empire: Terra Igcognita , you get most of them in one pack!
    Its the best mod I've played so far. Also played with DarthMod before but APE:TI suits me better.

    In Medieval some mods are almost another game,all are new the map the factions the units the AI almost all.This dont happens in ETW mods,not by the moders fault,but because CA dont open some critical files,so the moders cant touch the map,CAI,BAI,diplomacy and some other stuff. Another negative factor is the type of files,in MTW the mods creates a folder and a batch file ,but barley mess the game files,in ETW this could spoil your game,cause the mods create so many files in your data folder and replace others,that you have to be caution.And all this just to see more smoke some new drums a few blood, and, for me the only reason I use mods in this game,new units and uniforms.
    If you want to risk,chose APE.

    APE:TI definitely, as it makes the game more challenging with the manpower/supply system. I think it's a good preview of things to come (when speaking of big mods).

    TWMadMan - I think you can download it in the downloads section-i'm sure this is the flag you want, but I recommend spanky's flagset 1.2 this is link to spanky's flagset 1.2 hope it helped you out mate.

    A Proper Empire: Terra Incognita does not disable grenades.

    Default French Ship of the Line textures

    I noticed in the game that the French ship of the lines have the same colours as the British! I was under the impression that French ships were Black and Dark Red. Not Yellow and Black like the British!

    is there a mod which fixes this or has it not been done?

    Why do I always see the ships only uncolored?
    Brown on brown, it saddens me.

    Because in this periord of history they were, the lining became a fashion towards the end of the century and beginning of the 19th.

    Default List of mods not compatible with 1.3

    Maybe its a good idea?

    Here a list of mods which will cause ctd's with new patch:

    I start

    For me, the "tighter formations" mod and the "cavalry standart bearer mod" causes a ctd.

    Please continue this list, I will update

    CTD so far:
    -tighter formations mod
    -cavalry standart bearer


    EDIT: Nope, fife&drum seems to work fine.

    I do this so people can easier find out why their game crashes with the new patch...

    I'm also having the CTD with the Tighter Formations Mod v1.1 when going to custom battle menu, or when selecting anything to do with units in the campaign.

    And also Period Music Mod v.1.3 = Spanish uniforms turn back to the old yellow instead of the new white.

    Those are the only ones I'm having problems with, I really hope they get fixed soon since they are two of my favourite little mods

    I think tighter formations is working for me but I have it with another mod included, TROM I think. Spanish uniforms turned yellow again after the last patch but Spanky sent me a gloss file which made them white again.Damn I'll have to check that again. I wish they'd just sort out naval invasions then leave it alone for the modders to improve.
