    There is no trouble at all!

    The install program will ask you to over-write the files; simply make a backup of your ..\campaigns\main\ folder before you install!

    You can copy the files from that folder to your desktop for safe-keeping!

    Then run the installer and let it take care of the rest!

    this mod wont let me extract it to my data folder from Winrar after i downloaded it...help please this mod looks very interesting

    This really looks fantastic! I am only affraid it will be too easy to destroy opponents army with this little addon, because AI will simply not use it or use it properly (am I right?). Anyway, great mod!

    Lothar you are right about AI,but on the other side the mod is a player faction specific mod(originaly brittish)...we could just say that the brittish infantry tactic is a little different from others(or supperior to if you want) ...

    ...btw,you can add KL-unit to any faction that you want to play in campaign(can help with that,if someone want)

    So you suggest that only thing we have to do is to backup \campaigns\main\ folder, unzipp the file of AETI in to \campaigns\main\ folder (not in buckup folder of course ) and we are ready to go? What about replacing scripting.lua and startpos.esf files, Mod Manager and things like that? How are you going to lunch E:TW without Mod Manager? By clicking on the original lunch button?

    I must say I miss the old installation methods for the MTW mods, where you load a file - than extract the file - file was directet in a separate folder (without replacing anything in the the original files) and with the new lunch on the desktop (like a SS mod for MTW). When you were bor with the mod then you could easy uninstall the mod with a single click, and then try the new mod.

    Hi I would like to use this mod playing as Saxony and from what I understand it's only for the Brittish atm? how would I go about setting it up for Saxony?

    well,there's actualy three units acting like one regiment....behind KL-unit(with flagbearer removed) are two units of grenadiers with two flagbearars--that's why there are two flags...there's a lot of possibilities...

    see the screenshots,they're showing us that with kneel-mod we actualy command two units(or more) in one regiment and each of them we control separately...non rank-fire unit(or two if you like) behind KL-unit...it's a little difficult at firs but it has some great effects,like more firepower and visual satisfaction..

    So... this doesn't mod the rank fire? It just adds a kneeling unit?

    ...quite easy,if you know how to work with PFM Editor(thanks to Matt Chambers and others for this wonderful editor)...

    ...first open mod_kneel with PFM,go to units_to_exclusive_faction_permissions_tables,open units_to_exclusive_faction_permissions,find euro_kneel_infantry on the end of the column and change her faction IDref to Saxony...

    ...I assume that you already has Saxony playable as I don't know if it is enabled in vanilla...

    jascko - Yes, I also miss the days of not having to replace vanilla files but due to the way CA has handled some of these files, notably the startpos.esf and scripting.lua, we cannot load certain files into a pack file and had ETW load them.

    To answer your question; yes, simply bak up the main folder and fun the APE: TI installer and you start ETW as normal!

    To uninstall the mod you would ismply copy the 4 labeled files out of your data folder and replace your backups!

    Default proper early 18th century british grenadiers

    Any mods that remove the bearskin grenadiers for the british and replace them with mitre wearing ones?

    ...I really have no experience with Darthmod,cause I'm devoted to Quixote's Imperial Splendour...I have modified IS files with TROM and tigt formations,some sound changes and sfx...and for MOD_KNELL yes,it's probably the best way to manualy insert it in any other mod...there's so many of them already ...
