Is there any mod that increases the timeframe? I would certainly like to fight with an ironclad.
As of yet, no (or at least I don't think so).
I would like to ask if there is a mod permitting a native american faction to recruit other special units from conquered tribes. For example, if I'm Cheerokee and conquer Huron, I could be able to recruit Huron special units from Huron territory. Since native roster is fairly limited, I think it would be fun trying to unify all tribes this way. I noticed there are some area of recruitment mod, but they cover native tribes at all?
Thank you.
for the first half of the 1700s (longer wigs etc.) I remember seeing one a while back, but I can't find it.

how can I get the mod where Empire total war starts in 1783?
Is There An Empire Total War Prone Mod for the men to lay down in while shooting, I know there are hidden prone animations of prone?
And if not how can I make a mod of it?

There is no such mod.
Is there a mod that increases unit sizes?
@ King Graham I
Here's an old thread http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=243644 with a prone animation fragmentation mod attached. It will only work well I think if you use a breech loading rifle and you can mod a bit. I don't know If it works with 1.6? If the link is down, I should have the file, pm me and I'll upload it to you somehow, it was up quite recently. The best of luck to you! Let me know if you have any success.
BTW the prone part is down the page a bit.

What is a good mod for someone who wants to play as the Ottomans?

Hi, I’m new to the Total War series. My knowledge is limited regarding Total War, modding, and computers in general---but I’m willing to learn. I recently purchased Empire Total War, but was disappointed, as a history buff, to learn there were some factions that were strategically relevant in 1700 but are not playable in the game.
I was wondering if anybody could give advice on a good mod with the following characteristics:
1)The mod makes other countries/faction that actually existed as a political entity and controlled territory in 1700 playable.
2) The mod is compatible with patch 1.6.
3) I need something that is not a complete overhaul, I have the specs to run the game but I am having to do so off of a laptop (all I have) - I was warned that if I got a complete overhaul mod it might not work on my computer.
4) I would prefer something that:
a. Is historically accurate---units, military doctrine, battlefield formations, economic systems, political systems.
b. Allows a multiplayer campaign.
c. Is compatible with mods that tweak the game, especially mods for units, and battlefield music.
I would appreciate any help that can be provided! Any links to the mod and mod download instructions would also be greatly appreciated!
I apologize for the post being so long, and if someone has posted this information somewhere else. The amount of info on this site is incredible; it’s overwhelming for a new player such as myself.

I know there is one in darth mod, but I like enemy ships exploding, sinking and burning, and not surrendering like in darth mod. Therefore is there a no fort mod for vanilla?
