I have activated my Dahomey Amazon code today, however, I cant play them in the game. They aren't there. Nowhere to be seen. Any solutions on how to fix this?

In order to recruit the Amazons you need to hold territories in North Africa. To confirm that your special units are working, see if you can get them in custom battles. For more info on the requirements for special units, see this link:

Yes I know you have to have Morocco, Algers or Tunis. I do have these lands. I actually happen to have gov buildings too. However, they arent there to be recruited. And they arent in custom battles.

did you put the code into "active product on steam"?
If you did you should be able to right click on the steam icon of ETW and see it o nth DLC section

Well, if you can't seem them in custom battles, they probably aren't activated properly.

They are, as for I can see them in the DLC section. I have activated it, Steam made me a shortcut on the desktop to Empire Total War - Dahomey Amazons Unit. I tried all three of them (regular ETW off of desktop, ETW DAU off of desktop and ETW through Steam), yet none works.

I don't think this will help, but try this FAQ. I've searched high and low, but I can't find any better answers for you. Maybe email Sega/Steam/CA for help.

If you follow the link that was provided you will be shown a page that looks like the following. If you click on the second topic "How to register your exclusive units in Empire: Total War™?" then you will be shown the steps that you need to follow.



Now, that isn't very hard to do.

So are you now saying that you can activate them but you don't see them in-game?

What faction are you playing and which settlements do you own? Which special forces units can you not find?

I am playing as France and I have Morocco and I have Bulkeleys units.
