    Default Multiplayer and Mods

I've always played with mods in Medieval II. I played Stainless Steel and Broken Crescent. However, this is the first time I'm playing a total war game through steam. Are there any issues I should be aware with regarding this? I remember there being issues in the past, but I'm not quite sure.

Also, and more importantly, will I still be able to play multiplayer with mods installed? Specifically, for example, if I installed the sound improvement, darth-mod, and the blood/new marching tunes packs, would I still be able to patch the game, play it functionally, and be able to play against others online?

    Thanks

With Darth Mod you just move or rename the script that starts the mod up. It'll then load the basic game and you can play MP.

I assume it's the same for others.

^ So if I understand correctly, each mod has it's own separate file that I just 'add' to my Empire Total War game folder? Nothing gets permanently edited that might prevent me from playing online?

And I second Sardonicus's statement heh

What happens when all participant use the same mod(s)? Will it work, or can you only play MP-games using the vanilla version?
