does anyone watch the Showtime series "Weeds"? i just watched the entire first season in one sitting, i think this is my new television show. its like the Godfather, mixed with Grand Theft Auto, mixed with Harold and Kumar, mixed with ... i guess Desperate Housewives (does that make me gay?). any time i get bored of the drama, they start talking about pot. any time i get bored of the pot, they start making with the drama. some of it can get that television-tacky feeling going: teenage angst, overly dramatic Lost-esqe bizzare scenarios. but all in all, i really enjoyed that first season, and as soon as i find some stoner friends who are willing im going to move onto the second. plus ive now developed a milf crush on mary-louise parker....

when they finnish that first season, that last episode is just fantastic. when i saw the tittle "The Godmother" i just got so excited, the scene where she brings together her team, it really had that godfather feel to it; with a twist that not only worked well but didnt feel tacky and kept it from being a rip-off.

when she realises that the guy she's been seeing works for the DEA.... i couldnt keep sitting, i had to stand up and start pacing around the room. it was a mixture of laughter and concern; i didnt know how to feel lol.

LOL, I love that series to, especially the brother of MLP is cracking + the entire thing is reminding me about true life from a stoner point of view so much.

I only watched the first season. Do you have an idea about how many of them are around?

First season was very promising, but I've never gotten around to watching the other seasons.

Maybe I'll borrow them from some mates

im watching them on netflix, they have the first four seasons for rent, and a fifth one comming out later. so five seasons that i know of.

Just watched one episode love it and the lead actor is the hottest milf ever period.

i just finnished season 2 (i know, 2 nights, 2 seasons, i like the show just that much). i really hope your wrong about the third season cause the ending of the second season is spectacular; if you havnt finished it yet i highly recommend you get around to it.

I've never seen it, but she's a mighty fine reason to start watching!

The first two seasons were very good but after that the show has become much worse in my opinion. It's no longer "light hearted" black comedy about pot culture but a drama show, almost like soap opera.

!!! HOW DID I FORGET TO MENTION THIS?!?!?!? in the second season... zooey deschanel joins the cast; i was starting to think the show couldnt get any better, then BAM! they cock slap me in the face with a hearty dose of bat- insane in the form of zooey deschanel, someone whom i already have a crush on. and strangly enough i find myself incredibley attracted to the character, despite the fact that she's missing so many cogs the clock is running backwards; its somehow strangly apealing....

Catberts right... I've been watching it since the 2nd season and the humor has been completely sucked out of the show. I also hate the season finale twist, so I probably won't watch anymore.

EDIT: ok, just finnished the third season. wasnt as good as the first two but still had its moements, it kinda got up its own ass there for a while with anti-religion . and suddenly the big black lady is no longer a badass? when did that happen? she's literally doing nancy's gardening, in the first season she had locked-down but all of a sudden she's a no-body. I have to say though...

when celia threated to blackmail nancy, and nancy just grabs her by the throat, throws her up onto the counter and holds a knife to her throat i started clapping. that was def one of my favorite moments of the whole show.
