Game "stops" after the end turn button is pressed
I've got to turn 51 (1725) - I press the end turn button, my units move around as normal - and then nothing. The AI turns don't start - I can actually select everything as if it was a normal turn. However the end turn button is greyed out. Any suggestions? Cheers.

Does this last for a while and then work OK or do you have to terminate the game? There may be a character still moving somewhere (or stuck maybe).

Post details of the system that you are using (CPU, memory, graphics card and operating system).
Can you run games other than ETW without problems?

I have had this problem as well ocassionaly. It has nothing to do with the system (core 2 duo, 2 gig ram, radeon 4870). Its just something to do with the save and the buggyness of the game. I recommend doing something different in the turn or reverting to a different save.
Crashes in campaign map, battle map, horrible ai, no naval invasions made me stop playing the single player.

Core 2 Duo E6750
3GB ram
ASUS P5-N mobo
512MB 8800GT (up to date)
2 x HDD
Vista HP 64
I'll try cancelling some of the pre-arranged movement to see if that makes any difference.
