actually their fortunes have never been so bad as of late,especially with the backlash against the BJP-sponsored violence in Orissa against Christians.

And anyway the Nehru-Gandhi dynasty has no connection to Mahatma Gandhi, they actually owe their name to Indira Gandhi's Parsi husband, Feroze Gandhi.

its a nice thing(for the congress party) that the Nehru family started using the Gandhi name cos it created an illusion that this is somehow related to Mahatma Gandhi. A lot of people are fooled by this.
Even though i dislike the BJP; i dislike the Congress equally; for all its "oh we are for equality" claim; they are but a "Dynastic" party. Furthermore they have this nasty habit of poking their noses into conflicts they should not poke and propping up genocidal regimes
