Have you play very faction in the game, if not you can't say Ottoman empire is the most powerful. I love playing Prussia but I run out of money and I get raids from small armies.

Great Britian is for sure the strongest faction in the game. E:TW was made around GB, not that its bad or wrong that it was made this way, its just the game was made to play as Britian. The Ottoman Empire is a great faction but once GB really gets "rolling" with its Navy and Economy its almost unstopable!

Strongest state for the AI or human player? GB is strong but I don't know if the AI can do much with it if it can't land armies abroad. I'm still playing my first GC with GB so I don't know how well the computer uses GB.

I wouldn't say Courland is the weakest. In my game they raided a Swedish port and I had to declare war on them to get the trade route going again, (cost me 15k a turn that did). I guess what aussietwfan said, the Inuit people. I've never seen them do anything.

wow, you only and solely base that the ottoman empire is the strongest on the fact that you are probably turkish, and Turkey was important to the Ottoman Empire.

I can say but with arguments that the UP is the strongest, if you look at the income, and historically the fleet and technology they are the highest

But as far as combat goes, the Ottomans or the Russians are the weakest

not if you edit the russian troops and buildings

my siberian hunters have 150 range, 80 ammo, use the double barreled musket and pretty much clean the floor with anything out there. had to limit the units to 2 and reduce some values, otherwise it's just silly. oh and gave those mortar launchers 120 yards range and 30 ammo. park them behind your line infantry and enjoy the carnage
