    Default Wolverine:Origins

By now Im sure everyone (who cares) knows the movie was leaked, not going to say much about that other then Stan Lee forgive them, they know not what they do. When it comes out for real Ill say more but...anyway I wonder just how much this will impact box office. The movie was a high value release for this year so the impact might be quite noticable (especially when reviews start circling). I feel bad for Fox and for Jackman who put so much (however utterly misguided and stupid..ok ok last comment on how the movie was) into it to see it spoiled like this.

Just about every movie gets leaked a long time before it's released in theatres.
The thing, up until the week of the official release, they production teams are doing reshoots, last-second editing, etc. Things that might change the film completely. So any leaked and bootleg versions probably aren't going to be what the real movie is.

Actually no, very few movies get leaked...and even fewer get released a month before its released and and rarely a copy that isnt even finished yet. So it is indeed unique, the last "big" movie this happened to was the first Hulk movie. Unfinished or not however its not going to matter since its going to make an impression by people who see it or hear about it, in this case it is in my view not going to be a positive one. So it will be interesting to see how the initial box office is and if it seems unusually low.
