ETW - my Blue Screen o' Death

While testing ETW this evening I began getting a series of BSOD's. Prior to this, I've only ever dumped to desktop. The message in the BSOD said that the culprit was "dgx.sys". Which I assume is Direct X related? I updated Dx9 to the latest updated from 3/23...still getting CTD during naval battles.
I think I've exhausted all options at this point other than trolling the GPU/Nvidia/Total War forums in hopes that CA or another user can solve it, because I can't.

This may sound crazy but i think its possible that the new DirectX version could be the problem.
Sweet jesus now the game is starting to BSOD on everyone. I think I am gonna have to step away from the game for a while until CA can get this mess straightened up.

Ya, I think you might be right. Perhaps some sort of clash between ETW, Nvidia and DX9. Last night I downloaded the latest DX9 (3/23/09), but it didn't solve anything.
Tonight I think I'll try using a DX uninstaller to completely wipe and reinstall. If THAT doesn't work, perhaps I'll try rolling back to an old DX version.
