Has anyone just used money to take over the world?

I started a new game cause of save game problems, anyway in this game cause I knew what I was doing Im bringing in a lot more trade income than last time.

Have you guys noticed how easy it is to buy regions of the AI? Ive purchased most of New Spain, and New France and India with no problems.

And the indians, just buy all there territories and attack there capital and thats it.

Im gonna try it with Spain, buy up there european regions and capture Madrid in one turn.

I have done this..you have to fight a bit to get capitals and stuff but...I played a world domination game as Saxony and did nothing but buy land and fight defensive wars..oh and attacking capitals after buying land..

Well don't, cause it sucks a big fatty.

Point of clarification: This is on topic due to the fact that the movie had to do with how the European banking system controls the world and decides the fate of nations via wars/revolutions etc.

I've managed to buy most of AMerica up from respective factions

ur ppl love you as its not a war.

Also u can't buy capitals so u have to go to war at some piont or another

I am not sure that you will be able to buy regions from countries that hates you because, from my experience, they will refuse to almost anything you propose. I guess you will have to improve your relations with them.

The ai values military access way too much, i just give them military access and then 1000 pounds and they had over their land.

Indians and the like I usually pay around 40 to 60k, for Europeans its usually around 80 to 100k.

I am not sure that you will be able to buy regions from countries that hates you because, from my experience, they will refuse to almost anything you propose. I guess you will have to improve your relations with them.

Not true, I brought Naples of Spain while I was at war with them, for the same cost as above.
