Hello there,

I just have been playing Empire Total War and I love it. As we know we can change the how the game start by going into Descr_stat file and changing it around. Some reason I can't find it, can anyone help me?

Also did they get rid of the console window (for cheats) because I can not bring it up.

Yes, Empire doesn't have a console, hopefully it'll come with the next patch. and Empire uses a different file system than Rome or Medieval. There is no descr_strat file for empire. If you want to edit the playable factions in campaign you have to go to the stratpos.esf file and edit it with the .esf editor, which is considerably harder than just copy/pasting.

Is there anything else I should know about before changeling the game? There are two different folders of main. There is main and main 2 (which as .esf editor)

main is the grand campaign, main 2 is the road to independence episode 4.

Startpos.esf will be the file you are looking for that is like Descr_strat.txt.

You can use the esf editor in the tools subforum.... you can change most values but some are still binary.

Is there anyone can help me to use the software. All I want is to make the years longer (game finish 2000 AD, to be very wealthy and to have large armies.
