Germanic Crash!

Hi - this mod is so fantastic, like playing a whole new game, it would just be nice if it would stop crashing to the desktop!

The problem i have is while playing a campaign game as the germans, once I have been playing 20 years or so, after a battle or a siege victory, it crashes. I dunno if this is a common bug with an obvious solution or something unique to me - anyone have any advice or a solution? It would be much appreciated

have you installed the crash to desktop (CTD) fix?

I don't think it's only a problem with the Germans. I've been having that problem fairly often too with a couple of races. The game just crashes after a battle every once in a while (right once I press the check button to return to the map). I've also already installed the revolt fix and it did nothing.

Damn I thought setting it to compatibility mode with XP fixed it but after playing for probably 10 hours it crashed after a heroic victory. Oh well maybe it's time to try Medieval 2.

Edit: And I was playing as the Macedonians. I had just become the most powerful race anyways so I'm just going to say I died from aids in the game and my predecessor defeated everyone else.
