Re: installing on G
I presume Steam is on your 'C' drive? I installed steam onto my 'G' drive so the game itself is there. However, what happens is that the save games and replays etc go into my %appdata% which is tied into my Windows install which is on my 'C' drive. So, I just do housekeeping on those every now and then.
Usually with games installed on my 'G' drive the use modified files go to the usual folder in my game directory (as it's not installed in the C:\program files (x86)) rather than the virtual store.
I guess in theory you could uninstall Steam and install it on your 'G' drive. Once you install Steam there any games should end up like mine.
