Default No response from host - router problem???

    Hi,
Many people have same problem: unable to connect on 70-90% servers!!
From 15 players in my clan I can (everytime) join to 3-4 members and with other members we cannot join to each other!
I read many Topics (on twcenter, steam supp.,official etw supp.). It is all same: you must have same region or turn off FW or antivirus...

I uninstall AVG and antispywares and firewalls and region we have all the same!

So where is the problem? I read one one topic that problem is maybe in router:

    there is original post:
    2. No response from host. This means that either you or the host is having connection problems, possibly caused by router/firewall or just a bad connection or someone else has joined the game and is having connection problems, thus killing the game. Another cause of this is simply a wireless router incompatibility between yourself and someone else in the game which can happen because of the nature of TW that you're connecting directly to someone instead of through a stand alone server as with other games like CS:S/cod4/5 etc etc

A clan mate of mine is actually having the router problem so had to go out and buy a 50 ft ethernet cable to connect his pc directly to the modem so he could play with various people (just another reason I hate wireless).

anyone can help me? I have classic adsl router...

Open up ports for Steam through your router, thats how I solved my problems.

    thank you !!!

    it works!!

EDIT: not for 100% but it si better
If you have any other idea please write it here

    EDIT2: problem solved

Anyway, Hamachi doesn't seem to work in setting up LAN battles, i tried, However for some utterly bizzare reason, it seems to solve the cannot connect to host error for internet games if you are on a hamachi network with whoever you want to play with. ( Or at least it does for me )

I think it would help if someone other then me could also test this, by setting up a network with your friends and seeing if you can overcome the Cannot Connect error.

    thanks!
