    Default A few questions.

    I'm on about turn 20 and I am a bit stuck on a couple of things. I tried searching but couldn't find anything.

    (1) Why can i only research one thing at a time?

    I get that putting certain agents in the place of study speeds it up but it seems to take forever to get a few techs... and it seems that other nations are much more advanced then me.

    (2) any tips on getting more agents?

    (3) I cant seem to off load solders on the pirate islands in the americas? is it possible?

    (4) If allies or neutral ships are hijacking a trade route does this affect my income?

    (5) The replenish unit option for land solders, how does it work? It doesn't seem to fill my unit after the turn?

    (6) when i capture an enemy ship thats got no solders I see the option "add crew" but when I try to on my selected ship it doesn't do any thing?

    BTW, I'm playing H/H and am loving it EPIC

    2. Agents spawn randomly depending on your buildings

    3. Dont know yet

    4. Dont think so/hope not

    5. Takes 2 turns

    6. No sailors left means no ship I guess

    4 possibly. are they at war with your trade partners? if yes, then yes.
    (there's a rollover that shows you your income).

    5 2turns

    6 I couldn't make that do anything either. I just scuttled it in the end.

    3. You can try the N-E side of the island.

    4. Yes and No, if you're not at war it will not affect your trade routes, but if they block the route of one of your trade partners it will. Check the trade tab.

    You can land your troops on the Caribbean islands but it can be a bit of a pain. Not only do you need to click on the correct part of the island to land your troops the ships need to be close to that area as well I think.

    1. One tech per 1 school. so 2 schools - 2 techs (it's a math thing =)

    2. Gents and rakes spawn randomly when you buil/capture/upgrade new schools/bawdy houses

    4. No. If you aren't in state of war with rading nation, it won't affect your trade route

    5. at least 2 turns

    6. probably you don't have suficient crew on your own ships (due to batlle losses for instance)
