    Default about the expansion pack...

i dont know why everyone is talking about napoleonic, when american civil war is a very real possibility, ironclads and gatling guns can be implemented into the ETW system which would give it a sorta new feel and the american theater would be expanded

There should be both, really but it would be a huge expansion. Add in another 100 years, GC is now 1700-1899.

Would be a huge game, though so it's not gonna happen. Best we can hope for is a Civil War scenario. And personally i'd hate that.

CA always make the expansions so offshoot scenario. I've always wanted additions to the grand campaign.

it is to 1799...although a scenario going from 1700-1999 or to the end of the millennium would be awesome.

I don't know, he seems quite real to me.

I suggest learning a word before you try to harass someone using it.

My money is on another expansion like Kingdoms, where there were multiple periods to cater to multiple groups.

I would like to buy the AI uses ships to transport troops expansion. Can you imagine? ETW with the AI using ships to transport troops. That would be sweet!

1899? You'd have to add in machine guns. Yes literally.

They could do one similar to Kingdoms with the mini-campaigns...except slightly larger, but less of them.

A US Civil War one (I'd love one of these...if only that AGEOD Civil War game didn't take a genius to understand completely)...a Napoleonic War one...etc etc

I fell that the expansion should focus on the Napoleonic wars in Europe as well as the war of 1812 as well as the Texan war for Independence from Mexico and the U.S. vs. Mexico war that followed in America and end with the U.S. Civil war.

Tack my vote onto this. I wouldn't mind if they did either another "Road to Independance" type campaign for Napoleonic, Civil War, and Mexican-American war, or did it in the same format as the Kingdoms Mini-campaigns.

As long as you can choose sides, and play through all three conflicts I'm happy. Would be fun to see the South rise again Not to mention crushing Napoleon

I think that a Kingdoms style expansion dealing with civil war/revolution issues would be great.

    U.S. Civil War
    Texas Revolution
    French Revolution
    + Napoleonic era after that
and any other big civil war/revolution that happened during that time.

The Mexican American war doesn't really strike me as a great idea, but the War of 1812 might be good.

yeah but the War of 1812 would mean that #1: they would have to get Tschaikovsky's 1812 overture to replace the game's theme lol and

#2: 1812 was america's response to the Franco-American Allaiance and took place during the napoleonic wars.

I'm a bit confused, why would American respond to their own alliance?

Tschaikovsky's 1812 overture has nothing to do with the war of 1812 but why not...
