Good Song, Shame About "That Bit"

What are the songs that you really like apart from "that bit", where it really lets itself down? Maybe it's a cringe-worthy lyric, an embarassing rap from someone that just shouldn't or something. I'm not just asking for rubbish tracks, rather tracks that you really like apart from the rubbish bit.

For example; I really like the song "Tonight, Tonight" by the Smashing Pumpkins, but I hate the horrible, whining vocals. I also like "Hometown Glory" by Adele, but hate the pointless swearing when she says "Shows that we aren't gonna stand *poo* shows that we are united...". It just sounds like it was thrown in at the last minute. The radio edit never had it and it sounded fine.

Also, to stop this topic dying a horrible death, I'll also ask for examples of where your favorite band has released a track that's just made you think "WTF?!1!", due to it's crapness.

A lot of early New Order songs had the singer shouting out of key but for some reason it was so crap he was good. In Oasis whenever Liam comes in its crap and pointless, give him a guitar and let Noel do the singing.

Johnny Borrell out of Razorlight does this aswell. Especially in the song "Wire To Wire". Razorlight release some pretty decent songs, it's just a shame they have a tone-deaf vocalist.
