Finding and maintaining the script file is a pain in the ass unless you make a shortcut to it, and even then you have to make sure to save it in unicode. But the answer to your question is no, it is not necessary to use the MM.
the reason why I wondert was...(No offense) but I used modmanger to install the properempire mod together with standallone blood mod and the game totally crashed..had to reinstal...dont no what caused it....![]()
I can't seam to get the modmanager to work (either?) as in; When launching with the modmanager none of the mods I activated with it works, or the game CTD's on start.
But if I edit the script file manually it works, no idea why..
I bet I knowed what crashed it, find the script file and open it, I bet you will see that the line is longer than.
just
mod mod_name.
I discovered that problem when I was using the lastest version as well, I am not sure what is causing it.
Er, the current version seems to be working fine for me. There is a bug with rearranging load order I think but just enabling/disabling should work.
