Default No difference between colonial and european line troops.

At the moment there is absolutely no difference in quality between european and colonial line troops. Thereby it removes the strategic choice of importing superior forces from Europe (as historically happened) or take the quicker route by raising inferior forces locally. CA really missed a huge opportunity for fun gameplay choices here and I wonder if any modder has already picked up on this or is planning to.

    Cheers,

There is a difference, take the Line Infantry for example.

There's one differance, that makes all the differance. Colonial Line Infantry do not have the trait "Morale Shock Resistance", which means they will easily rout when faced with enemy fire, something European Line Infantry will be able to stand through, most of the time.

As well as they are much weaker. Look at those stats.
