Alter aggression
I'm really enjoying the RTRPE. Thanks to everyone for working on it. I was wondering if there's a txt file change(s) I can make that will increase a factions aggression toward Rome. And is there a way to tell those factions to attack with larger armies rather that smaller ones.
Thanks for your help.

Re: Alter aggression
The attitude of the factions towards one another and the starting diplomatic stance between them is set at the end of descr_strat. There are comments there so it`s pretty straight forward what the values do. Depending on which exe you use to play rtrpe and which version of rtrpe you have the location of this file will differ.

Re: Alter aggression
Thanks. I see a few things that will help.
In the export_descr_character_traits file there are the following traits:
FearsRomans
HatesRomans
If I want to increase a faction's effectiveness against Rome, do I increase the "Threshold" attribute or lower it?
Thanks for your help

Re: Alter aggression
I`m not that good with traits and you should move this discussion to the workshop section. Plenty more chances to get help there than here.

And this is a tutorial on traits from the twc wiki:

and from the tutorial section of twc:
