Your KGCM campaigns
Well, I don't wait for the 3.9 patch, I want to post my russian campaign. I hope other people will post their camapigns too.
1) forgive my poor english, I'm french
2) sorry, I can't post any screen, because I have vista and no screen-capture software function.
Hear now, the glorious campaign of Russia!
You have a lot of settlements, but few are rich. Two cities can bring some gold to your treasure: Novgorod, and more important, Kiev.
But you start with little armies, underdeveloped castles, and at war with Poland and the mighty Mongols. Mongols cause devastation, that will quick lowering your incomes in Novgorod, and Poland will send stack after stack against Kiev, cuting rich trades roads.
I sent a little army against Helsinki. Why this town? because it's far from any greedy neighbour. The Kiev garrison resist successfully against several polish armies. But my treasure was empty, and the Polish took the city of Turov. The defeat was near, but a revolt in Turov gave me back the city, and I managed to have peace with Mongols, against 20 000 florins.
It was a truce, and I knew it. But it's gave me the time to devellop Helsinki, and build my first real army. So, when Mongols attacked, I was prepared.
I saved all my cities, because horse-archers-armies wasn't able to make some assaults against the walls.
I beat hardly the Mongols armies. My tactic: charge with heavy cavalery, they will suffer, but it fix the horse-archers in hand-to-hand battle, and I send immediatly infantery, who can cut the mongols skirmishers.
Poland offer peace, I became it's vassal. Not glorious, but I didn't have choice, in fact. Then, I could turn all my forces agianst Mongols, and take 2 cities.
Mongols didn't react, in fact. I have taken a city with an half-stack, and nearby frightening mongols stacks didn't move.
Now, I have a little money, and all northern Russia. Mongols have some giant armies at the border, but don't attack me. It seems that they turn all their attention to the south, against the Turks, and adopt a defensive stance agaisnt me
That isn't silly, after all: northern cities are poor, and middle-eastern is far wealthier. But it make the campaign easier for me

Re: Your KGCM campaigns
An AAR section would be cool. Great idea blackader.
PS- Sounds like a really fun campaign. I will post a recent Spain campaign I played on 3.8 soon. I really want to hear some English, TO, Byzantines, and Muslim campaigns. Also, has anyone tried to conquer the world as the Mongols yet?

Reconquista! Brief AAR of Spain - using KGCM 3.8
(I finished this campaign a couple weeks ago, and sadly have no screenshots.)
The Kingdom of Castille has recently rose to prominence on the Iberian peninsula, being a strong counterpart to the Moors in al-Andalusia. First things first, the regions under our possession had to be designated a function. Toledo was to become the major military hub, first building a drill square as to gain the ability to recruit Dismounted Feudal Knights. Leon was to build Knights of Santiago while joining the rest of the cities in building a strong economy.
Meanwhile, the armies of Spain marched to put down the rebellious regions near the Pyrenees. The first hammerblow struck at Pamplona, and once secruing the castle stronghold, the armies of Castille marched on Zaragoza. After capturing Zaragoza and defeating El Cid in a very difficult battle, the Spanish expansion stopped.
At Toledo, the armies of Spain were becoming more advanced. With a full stack of DFKs, KoS, and mercenary crossbows and spears, we were ready to begin the Reconquista. Our army at Toledo marched on Corduba, while our retrained and refitted army in Aragon marched on Valencia.
Eventually we took both cities, after fighting many large Moorish armies at Corduba and reinforcements from Granada and Seville. After losing Corduba, the Moors were severly set back. We opted again to sit back and build a new stack, while battling the Moorish Imams for control of the populations religion. Our priests were working around the clock, and not making any progress. It was then that a squad of assassins were used to kill off as many Imams as possible, in order to win the battle of faith. After our second army was ready, and our Portugese allies has beaten and worn down the enemy at Badajoz and Lisbon, we were ready to strike at Seville and Granada. Eventually, the cities were captured and the Reconquista was over. We immediately sued for peace, paying the Moors a huge tribute for and end to the violence.
This is when we made our biggest mistake. The Spanish, who had grown bold in their recent victories, decided to move against the Portugese, uniting Iberia under one banner once and for all. We struck at Bajadoz immediately, only to be stopped by a large army of Portugese reinforcements. We were hoping to play defense and rebuild, overly stretched and very weak throughout our kingdom. It was right now that both the French and Moors attacked, all within 2 turns of each other. we held the French after many nailbiting battles at Pamplona and Zaragoza, but lost Seville to the Moors. We were also able to barely hold off the Portguese, while we rebuilt a new army at Toledo. We sent this army at once to Bajadoz, and captured the city. At the same time, a decent army from Granada met up with some units from Corduba. We were able to retake Seville, and push the Portugese back to Bajadoz.
I ended the campaign there. I was at war with portugal, the Moors, and France, but was in a prime position to beat the portugese. The French did not look like they were going to make any more attacks anytime soon, while the Moors were going to be held at Seville. I wish I had more time to finish the campaign and finish the portugese. I still have the save so I might finsih it someday. For now though I have reunited modern-day Spain and am poised to create a pan-Iberian kingdom, hopefully before I can sail to America and conquer the New World

Re: Your KGCM campaigns
I'm thinking about to start another russian campaign. Because it's too easy now: Mongols withdraw, nobody attack me, I've a lot of money... I play H/H, and it seems that only VH should be a challenge. But with VH AI has a lot of money, and every factions only want to attack the human player. Well, it was so in vanilla, and I do'nt no how AI function with last versions of KGCM.

Re: Your KGCM campaigns
My Denmark campaign.

I have eliminated Norway and Teutonic order. Short wars against Poland then HRE have gained territory. I followed up with ceasefiress to placate the Pope. Yet he still hates me.
Ireland have just attacked me!!!! At Adger.
Theire fleet has been destroyed, and their army will follow, but I may lose Adger first. This would be bad. It's my principal naval base.
I am allied with Venice and Lithuania. HRE are doing badly, and England are losing territory to Wales!!!
