Rome Tournament - The Eliminator

The Eliminator
Greetings and salutations. Considering the extended hiatus of Loki’s Rise of a Warlord tournament I have decided to host my own tournament in the meantime.
Conditions
The concept is fairly simple. You have a choice of one of twenty-one factions, which you shall remain as for the duration of the tournament. In each round you will face one opponent who you will play a best of three against. The victor will move forward to the next round, whilst the loser and their faction will be eliminated (not literally of course) from the tournament.
Form: 1v1, elimination (best of three)

Map: All matches are to be played on the Gallic Countryside.
Season: Winter
Weather: Calm
Time of Day: Morning
Camera: Do not restrict camera
Unit size: Large, unless one of the players’ computers cannot handle it.
Rules
1) No corner camping
2) If the connection is broken, the person responsible forfeits that particular match, unless their opponent is willing to rematch.
3) Max 6 cavalry (includes all horses, chariots, camels and elephants)
4) Max 6 foot archers/slingers (does not include javelin units)
5) Max 2 horse/camel/chariot archers (counts towards the 6 cavalry max, does not include javelin units)
6) Max 2 chariots (includes chariot archers)
7) Max 2 berserkers
8) Max 2 elephants
9) Max 2 artillery

Special notes
Though most will play best of threes to determine who will move forward, it may be that there are an odd number of participants, in which case three people would fight one scored resolution match with the winner moving to the next round. Further, I realise some people are more restricted by their online time than others. Therefore, you do not have to play all your games against your opponent on the same day or time.
Registration is to be completed by the end of this Friday (3rd April). I will then post the first round matchups on Saturday. All round one matches are to be completed by Saturday 18th April. It is not essential that all factions be assigned so the tournament will move forward provided enough people sign up. Please register in this thread.

Round One
Below are the match-ups for round one. You have only one opponent in this round; play them in a best of three. Report the result of each game in this thread (so that I can keep track if you play your games over multiple days). Match-ups are entirely random with no regard to faction balance, geography etc. If you have any queries regarding rules, match-ups etc post in this thread or PM me.
I have extended the deadline for the completion of round one until Monday 20th April.
There has been a slight change regarding rules. Headhurlers are no longer counted in the max 6 foot archer/slinger. They are, however, limited to 4 max. There will be no further rule changes.
