I miss it.. and I still have it on my HD. I may go back to M2TW soon. But not before I finish my first grand campaign in Empire

Ive alreadt stopped playing ETW and have crawled back to M2TW.. might come back when empire gets a bigger modding community

I 'd say I never dropeed MTW2 and all the fabulous mods for it. Rather I tried ETW, wasn't impressed and kept playing MTW2 again -)

Unfortunately the developers seems do have no time trying out the great mods for RTW and MTWII. If they had, they would surely have made a better ETW.
Even so, there are improvements and the earlier games weak points like stupid victory conditions (conquer half the map), endless repetitions due to too many battles etc. are eliminated in a large degree. ETW are more focused on the battle and the outcome is more decisive. This is both better and more historically correct. As an example, Napoleon had to beat Austria only in the battle of Wagram in 1809 to force them to peace negotiations. Fewer an more decisive battles are a good thing. The lack of atmosphere and all the bugs make the downside.

I Still have RTW + BI (with Mods) M2TW (with Stainless Steel) and now Empire so depends of wat era i feel for the day just boot it up and reconquer the world in different time periods

not really miss them right now, will probably re-install M2TW when EB2 come out , I did install RTW/RTR again while waiting for ETW and reading the Emperor books again but got tired of the constant siege battles with the Gauls and Carthaginians

I do not "miss" RTW or M2TW or any other TW game... because they are all sat on my shelf next to ETW ready to be played whenever I want haha.
Its not like someone took them away!

Yeah... Having empire doesn't means you "lose" RTW or M2TW. I still play M2TW.
I just can't let go the feel of hundreds of archers shooting knights to pieces in a large volley of arrows
E:TW's natives have developed a new "Ballistic Automatic Detection And Seeking System" to utterly annihilate any European that sets foot on their soil... That's BADASS for short!

After watching battles b.c. on the history channel indeed it makes me miss it lol, oh yeah btw for any of you interested its going to be on @ 9pm EST. i think tonights episode is julius caesar or alexander not to sure

Rome surrectum, that was one awesome mod, I want that with M2TW/empire TW graphics. It is one of the few mods where units died fast.....like they would have in "reality". I miss that, but I cba to still play Rome with the graphic engine it has.

I kinda miss Rome but, well, that was my first total war game.

when i discovered that etw was on steam i didnt bother buying it because i knew from bitter experience that it would be a total clusterf###.i still have all the previous games installed with numerous mods so the trauma is lessened for me.

Last night I was fighting France as England playing M2TW with the SS mod, so I don't miss them at all
I'll most likely play Rome soon again too, some of the mods made since I quit look very impressive and no damn Pope.
