Great speech.
I like how Paul says at the end, "What happens if my concerns turn out to be false? Nothing. What happens if they are ignored and it turns out to be true?... Nothing good."

People behave poorly regarding Ron Paul. Even if he could have been the answer, he will not be the answer. He is not even an effective voice in the wilderness. Supporters like what they want and just like the Obama-maniacs they choose to not look at the clear flaws that others see.

Thats the same cost as interventionism, only it costs us less money. With an interventionist policy, Darfur still happened, Tibet is still being oppressed, Zimbabwe is still oppressed- genocide, war, and dictatorships are still the norm. They always will be, no matter how much America or any other nation tries to play the role of super hero.

My absolute favourite part of the primaries was when Paul got soundedly thrashed in a vote his supporters would all have an excuse, eventually claiming conspiracies that would make Gorija blush.
What exactly is wrong with Ron Paul? Despite for some of his extremely naive policies?
The New 'Hero' would have voted for Ron paul.

Ron Paul is coo-coo.
"When one person suffers from a delusion it is called insanity. When many people suffer from a delusion it is called religion." -- Robert Pirsig
"Feminists are silent when the bills arrive." -- Aetius
"Women have made a pact with the devil — in return for the promise of exquisite beauty, their window to this world of lavish male attention is woefully brief." -- Some Guy
My problem with Ron Paul is simple: his legions of adoring fanboys who worship the ground he walks on and refuse to admit he might make mistakes, be wrong, or simply be irrelevant.
He's irrelevant.
Now look at your sentence, and add the name barack obama, it works both ways. Except not only do his fans worship him too, but the media for some reason worshipped him aswell, its the second coming of jesus dont forget, albeit a black version, let us all rejoice, our economy is saved, the world is saved, albeit well be poor for next few hundred years, BUT WERE SAVED!
"I may not like what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it."
- Voltaire(1694–1778)
What if Ron Paul had a brain?
And WWII could have been prevented in 1938 if the governments of the world were interventionist not non-interventionist.
“The nation that will insist upon drawing a broad line of demarcation between the fighting man and the thinking man is liable to find its fighting done by fools and its thinking by cowards.”
—Sir William Francis Butler
The powers delegated by the proposed Constitution to the federal government are few and defined. Those which are to remain in the State governments are numerous and indefinite. The former will be exercised principally on external objects, as war, peace, negotiation, and foreign commerce; with which last the power of taxation will, for the most part, be connected. The powers reserved to the several States will extend to all the objects which, in the ordinary course of affairs, concern the lives, liberties, and properties of the people, and the internal order, improvement, and prosperity of the State. - James Madison
