Changes Not Taking Effect

Hello all,

I'm encountering some trouble with my own personal modifications. I've used the Pack File Manager to edit the amount of unit upkeep costs. When I do that, save, and start a new campaign, my changes are in effect. However, after one or two sessions where I inevitably have to exit the game and reload at a later time, I come back to the game and find that upkeep costs are all back to vanilla levels and the file is the vanilla one when I open it back up in Pack File Manager.

So what am I doing wrong? Is Pack File Manager not the right program to make edits in? Does overwriting one save game file as opposed to making a new save file with every session creating problems? Thanks for any responses.

I think you have to save it as a new mod pack, and maybe change the tablefile name.
