ummm help

[MABUS2012]

yeah well i dont really no alot about mods or how they work.
but basicaly i got this error after i tried starting a campaign it told me to chose from the list and thats it so i quit and went to windows and then it said this


scrit Error xgmd/Data/worls/maps/barbaian_invasion/descr_strat>txt,at line 27,column1
Expected start date of capaign or battle

oh and also do i have to have the alex epansion pack or will bi work only. if not then thats is probably my prob

the mod works with BI i use BI

have you installed the mod and its patches correctly? you have to install them in the order they are listed in(i think). if you have done everything orrectly then go to descr_strat file in

XXXXX\xgmD\Data\world\maps\campaign\barbarian_invasion (if you use alexander then go to the alexander folder).

delete everything until you get to the priate spawn value. after deleting pirate spawn value, copy and paste this into your descr strat file.it should work correctly. im not that great with tehcnicalities myself so if it still goes wrong then just reinstall the mod

You don't need to do any of that. Just make sure you point the installers to your Rome - Total War\ folder. The same folder where you RomeTW-BI.exe or RomeTW-ALX.exe is. Make sure you install them in the correct order or it will NOT work.

turns out i had to download 1.6 and it works now great mod i wish maybe sythia and parthia had som new skins and units but besides that looks and plays perfect

It's great that you enjoy the mod. Hopefully, the next version will be a lot more stable with new units and many bugfixes.
