Well i had all my generals in a fort deep in my homeland well a random large rebel army spawns and sieges it i lose all my general except for 1 general witch i bribed from the romans Lucius Scipio The problem is he dosen't have a wife and i dont have any heirs to the throne he is 72 and im not sure if he will die before i get another general.

That's the most likely scenario unless;
- a garrison commander is adopted into the family

And i have to restart i tryed doing it over and over but my leader dies before i can get another general.

Having all you're top dogs in one spot is not very smart if it's the early game. Either way, I'd say just make a few saves and see what happens.

I was late in the game and my main provinces dont have a big garrison as i said in my first post a huge rebel army spawned and sieged.

Enyalius idea is good but it depends on how long his last family member will hold out

weeelll, I suppose you could always use the console... but that would kinda be against the whole point of the game.

How would the console help? I don't think there are any cheats for making general's live.

yeah, but if his/her village is under attack and all the gallic generals are in that one town, it would be possible to sally out and just use the console to force a victory in battle and so drive the enemy forces away. I did it once or twice when I was still pretty new to RTW, but it actually stuffs up your game and makes it no fun

does the game stop when you loose all your family members?? or can you just fight on untill you get a "hero of the hour"?

The game stops when you lose all your family members because there is no more royalty, thus a civil war would begin. Ending your reign.

you need to have 2 or more huge armies with your top generals and all the other families members spread out into your settlements.
