what am I doing wrong?

Helo, I installed RTW and BI, patched it to 1.6, then I installed RTR Platinum, I got 3 icons on the desk top, I started the game and everything was fine until I I go Single player>New Campaign, when I press New Campaign I get a message saying: please select an item from the list, I press the green button for ok, and then nothing, no faction selection screen, it just leaves me there, I can press New Campaign over and over again, nothing happens, and it always shows me the same message to select an item from the list, what list?!
And I cant play custom eather, I get my and enemys units ready, I press next, and it sends me back to the faction selection and, I cant go further. And when I try Historical battle the game crashes.

So basically I cant play the game at all, please help I just want to play. Thank you

That usually means something wasn't installed right.

hey, re instaled the game one more time, and it works now o.o,
