    Anyone some good idea on making masks? For Latin class, we need to re-enact a scene from an acient Roman play. As you probably know, the Romans used masks. I know that one of the features of those masks were the expressions.

    How do you suggest I make one? Materials? Any creative tips greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

    Paper maché seems easiest, though getting a good result really depenDs on the quality of your paste;
    Some day I'll actually write all the reviews I keep promising...

    I have worked a lot with paper maché before, in arts academy. Let's say I've grown tired of it

    Chicken wire, emulsion and print paper. You can even sand it once it dries, and you can chisel it aswell.
